Cupids 400 – What's Happening

Cupids Legacy Centre, Official Opening.

Posted by Crout On August - 19 - 2010

The new Cupids Legacy Centre is state of the art facility offering an innovative and interactive museum experience.

See Flickr for many, many more photos! > >

The Centre is a place “Where the Present Meets the Past” – a place where visitors are encouraged to explore the exotic nature of our landscapes, our waterscapes, our cultural heritage and our people – a place where visitors are encouraged to pause and reflect on their heritage…. our common heritage and perhaps…. in the process of reflection …discover something about themselves. Those who visit this place will be invited to explore the legacies left by their ancestors and will be motivated to ponder their own legacies.

Illuminating the rich tapestry of history and culture that has defined Cupids’ place at the nexus of Canadian history, the Cupids Legacy Centre represents a permanent home to a vast heritage that echoes in every field and cove of this remarkable place.

    Thanks, Very useful resource!!

  2. I am impressed with this blog. For a while, I have been trying to commence one just like this too, though I am not knowledgable on how to do it. What is this so-called web2.0 software? Is it hard? Need I be well versed in computers to put together a blog? I am hoping to create a simple blog for my esl for students website. Can it be integrated into a present website?

Wordpress Blogs require more knowledge about programming. I would suggest Blogspot for someone not familiar with programming. It is easier to use.

  4. Hello… I’d prefer to be direct. I need many backlinks to my example essays writing website and I would be glad if you will agree to my backlink here. My resource is a completely free site which facilitates learners on the basics of writing essays and I am without doubt that ESL students will benefit from it. Again, I appreciate you will not delete my comments, and I thank you in earnest.

  8. Hello… I am Daryl Tang and I am a language teacher residing in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. I’d like to be to the point. I needed some links to my esl reference site and I would be glad if you could allow my link here. This website is a good quality website that teaches ESL students on the skills of writing essays and I am sure that many students will enjoy it. Again, I wish you will not delete my posting, and I thank you in anticipation.

About Me

Henry Crout, one of John Guy\'s Colonists is the avatar for Cupids Cove Chatter. The hand represents his journal writing. Although a number of people including John Guy and Sir Percival Willoughby recorded information about the first English colony in Canada, Henry Crout recorded what was happening on the ground. We hope this blog will introduce and describe events from an - on the ground - perspective. We hope to have guest bloggers who will add their descriptions and opinions.
